🏥 About the Role:
Vital Care of Bethesda is seeking a skilled Infusion RN / Hospital Liaison to deliver high-quality infusion therapy to patients in their homes and outpatient settings. You’ll serve as a clinical liaison between hospitals and the pharmacy, while providing direct care, coordinating logistics, and educating patients and families.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Perform home- and clinic-based infusion therapy in line with regulatory standards
- Coordinate with pharmacists and referral partners to support continuity of care
- Educate patients and families on infusion treatment plans
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate clinical interventions
- Assist with scheduling, deliveries, and documentation
- Optional: PICC line insertion for qualified RNs
✅ Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
- 3+ years of clinical experience
- 1+ year in acute care or IV therapy
- Strong communication skills with care teams, patients, and partners
- PICC line insertion RNs must meet expanded clinical practice guidelines, including INS-approved coursework and supervised insertions
⭐ Preferred:
- Infusion-related certification (e.g., CRNI)
- Prior nursing management or liaison experience
